Featuring
Advanced Microprocessor Control
- The
electronic control system in the DHC-E does not allow the
water temperature to go above 125°F (52°C), which eliminates
the possibility that scalding may occur. On the other hand,
125°F (52°C) water is sufficiently hot for most uses.
- Controls the
temperature of the outgoing water plus or minus approximately 1/2 of 1
degree vs. the conventional tank hot water heaters that are plus or
minu 6-10 degrees.
- Controls the amount
of the power used to achieve the temperature dependant on
demand.
- Two temperature sensors and one
flow sensor
- Three stage heating elements
|
- Shipped with 0.5 GPM pressure
compensating flow reducer/aerators that fit on most faucets.
- Installs without a temperature pressure
relief valve
- No circulating pumps
- Three year Warranty
- Unlimited supply of hot water
- Keeps heating water
instantly as you require
- Completely replaces a
conventional tank heater - takes up considerably less space
than conventional tank type water tanks
They supply hot
water instantaneously and continuously at any time, since water is heated
as it flows through the unit. A water flow activated switch turns the
heating elements on and off. The use of flow reducing devices such as
faucet aerators is recommended in conjunction with tankless water heaters.

Technical Data
If
a high flow is desired - a larger unit must be used to achieve the
higher temperature rise at the higher flow rate. We try to match the usage
with the size of the unit.

Descriptions to
the above data:
-
The
Model DHC-E 10 has a single phase, all households in the US
are single phase.
-
Voltage
is 208/commercial and 240/residential.
-
The wattage is
measured in kilowatt hours.
-
Amperage is the
incoming service to your home or business you will need to
operate this unit.
-
This is the size of
breaker that is needed.
-
Recommended
wire size is: (AWG Copper) This means American
Wire Gage for Copper wire. It is how big the wire measures
around. The smaller the number, the bigger the
wire.
-
If you set the
flow rate to be 1.50 gallons per minute, the temperature of
the hot water coming out of the tap will be 44 degrees higher
(residential) than the ambient temperature coming into your
house. So if the temperature of the water coming into
your home is 50 degrees, then the hot water coming from your
tap will be 94 degrees.
-
Minimum water flow
to activate the unit to make hot water.
-
Weight is
the weight of the unit as it is empty.
-
Maximum
operating pressure is the amount of pressure the unit will
work at. (PSI - Pounds per square inch). Homes in
the city run on 80 psi and in the rural area homes run on
40-60 psi.
-
Testing to
pressure prevents the unit from bursting, causing accidents,
burns, etc.
-
